![]() final furlong Some of Sue's best work can be seen in Pebbles Gallery The work shown in Pebbles reflects her recent involvement with depicting the world of horses and racing, particularly in exploring ways of interpreting movement. The horses themselves offer such strong compositional possibilities, with the added interest of speed and power. Sue has recently started a series of drawings based on George Stubbs’ celebrated painting “Whistlejacket” in the National Gallery, and new prints from this series are available at Pebbles Gallery, along with originals in oil on canvas, small framed sketch drawings of race meetings, and other signed limited edition prints.
